Dove Commercial - Kodak Competion
The 30 second commercial was produced as part of the Kodak Student Commercial Competition for the brand 'Ogilvy Dove' with the intention of widening consumer awareness of the brand to teenage girls and mums. ‘Ogilvy Dove’, having had considerable success with their 'Real Beauty' campaign amongst adult women, now hopes to appeal to younger girls with the same message of self confidence with regards to beauty. The commercial was developed to project an image of young girls who are relaxed and confident about their looks through the example of a knockabout school football game. Teams from Ruislip and Maidenhead play an under-15’s football game despite a sudden onset of rain, passionate about the sport and unworried about their appearances. The commercial was directed by Chris Goodman, shot by Stil Williams and edited by Balint Tusor.
